Autumn is here.
It has uncharacteristically been raining here these past few weeks, which I love.
I like having to get a little bit wrapped up after a long summer of not being able to get cool enough. I am a softy for fuzzy sweaters and warm drinks. Summer and autumn are my favorite seasons.
So in the rain Sophia and I made our way to my gynocologist visit yesterday. You wait 40 days after giving birth and then you go to get a check up. I got a clean bill of health. Doctor was very patient as I went down my list of questions for him to answer. At the end of the visit I gave him a gift and a card that Jonah and I had picked out for him. A bottle of expensive Scottish whisky. He blushed. Interesting that of all the things for my gynocologist to get embarrassed about it was receiving a gift for a job well done. Very sweet, I thought.
To celebrate feeling normal again and almost a year of hard work being pregnant I am going to an arab bathhouse on Tuesday with a few girlfriends. Have to make the reservations today.
Jonah left last night to stay the night in a hotel before he crossed over into Gibraltar again today to take the last university exam for the year. He called me on his way home today to say that he thought he did pretty well. He's all done until the new year. Well done, Jonah!! Yay, now we can focus on other things for a couple of months.
have a nice time at the bath house- good to hear you got the all clear
